Building Independence: Life at The Hope Movement

The Hope Movement is more than transitional housing

Women accepted to The Hope Movement stay at the residence while they develop essential life skills, receive counseling and mentorship, establish and pursue personal goals, and discover the freedom of a life following Jesus.

Our Program

The Hope Movement was the first transitional housing program for women in recovery in Garland County, AR. Since our start in 2012, the capacity of our residency has grown to house up to 12 women.

Community Building

Volunteers, Christian mentors, and community experts help us support women with wisdom and intentionality

Life Skills Training

Our emphasis on life-skills training empowers program graduates to live fulfilling lives of independence

Sharing the Journey

Planting seeds for hope in our community, we encourage our participants to volunteer their time and gifts

Scaffolded Independence

Meals and transportation are provided for the duration of a woman’s time in the program, so she can focus on her growth and healing

Friendship

Life with women who are learning and healing in recovery together creates an environment for compassion and friendship

Intimate Relationship with God

All of our efforts culminate to encourage each woman to form her own spiritual relationship with Jesus
